Medium adult Canoe t’shirt

Designed and printed at Erub Arts. This design refects patterning of ocean life and travel.

The boat is the vehicle that brings the land and sea together connecting us across the ocean, bringing meaning and culture with the people carried.

Our ancestors came before us by canoe bringing food and gathering food along the way to share and trade. Canoes were also used to travel warriors across the seas into battles and raids.

The people who brought us the Gospel also travelled by boat. Today people travel by different kinds of boats. Into the future they will continue to travel a cross the water sharing culture, experiences and spiritual beliefs.

I am, because we are and we are, because of what went before.
