My Grandmothers Cave

I went to this Cave when I was a young boy. My grandmother took me here and this painting is the story of her and her mother and father travelling through the Bungle Bungles, the Jalaloo area, Blue Hole near the limestones. They camped and did art in the Caves.

Biography:

Cecil was born on 22 June 1982, over the Cockburn Ranges, on the way to Wyndham hospital in a small Cessna airplane. His name came from the Cessna and his middle name was after the pilot who was named Peter. He Grew up in Warmun, son to Jock and Doreen Mosquito and their 7th child. He traveled back and forth between Turner, Warmun and Cattle Creek and would often spend time being raised by his Grandparents David and Judy Turner. His Grandmother Judy is a Gija woman from Jalalu Frog Hollow and his Grandfather David was from Turner, other side of Bluehole, going back towards Elvira River. David is a Nininjara and Mulungin man. Jock Mosquito is a Nininjaru and Gurindji man.
