This painting was inspired by a painting by my grandfather Churchill Cann. The river divides the Top Camp, Middle Camp, Bottom Camp and Other Side. The different areas we live in Warmun.

Biography:
My name is Sevanna Carrington and i am the fourth child of my mother - amongst seven children.
I've started painting at the age of 8yrs old, using traditional ochre paints. Now i am currently 24yrs old and still paints. i have been inspired by my mother Charlene Carrington as well as my grandmother(Sade) and great-grandmother named Betty Carrington. i have lived in Warrarmurn (Warmun) all my life, now currently a mother to my 4yr old daughter Meira.
My mother is a Gija women, her country lays North East of Turkey Creek community known as Texas Downs Station, and my father comes from Derby region - of the three main tribes known within that area he is of the Ngarinyin clan.
