Bidyadanga is a community located on the Kimberley coast in Western Australia, where the Great Sandy Desert meets the sea. The word Bidyadanga is derived from pijarta/ bidyada (emu watering hole).

Jessica was born in Broome. She grew up in Bidyadanga and spent most of her life there. Jessica likes sitting with Muuki and Wokka, her grandfathers while they do painting and tell stories. She likes going on country trips with them to learn about their country.
