Gaṯtji Billabong

Gaṯtji is located northwest of Ramingining and is one of 14 homelands surrounding the Ramingining community. It is Gary Smith’s country, where his dreaming began. Gary often paints the billabong at Gaṯtji which is filled with flora and fauna, including Ratjuk (barramundi) ga (and) Ḏakawa (crayfish) that swim beneath the fresh waterlilies.
