Biography:
Kyah is the granddaughter of one of Tangentyere Artists' established artists, Betty Conway.
She first started painting with Tangentyere Artists in 2015, when she was at school. Hoping to continue painting and developing her skills, Kyah returned to the Art Centre in 2023, now a mother and active member of the Mparntwe community. Working at the Pertame Language School and at Tangentyere Artists studio, Kyah is passionate about art and culture.
Kyah works across mediums, including painting, ceramics, photography and jewellery. In 2023, she will collaborate with selected Tangentyere and Yarrenyty Arltere Artists to produce an installation for Tarnanthi (Art Gallery of South Australia).
