Biography:
Born in Alice Springs, Mervyn's father was a Pintupi man from Kintore way. His mother is Arrernte side. He can paint in figurative and non-figurative styles. Papa Dreaming from Nuemanu. He hasn't painted for a long time. He lived in Halls Creek, Kimberley way for many years, and sold paintings there. He is the husband of renowned Tangentyere Artist Sally M Mulda. He decided he wants to sit down at the art centre and paint alongside his wife. He holds his father's father's Papa Tjukurrpa (Dingo Dreaming) from Nyunmanu south east of Walungurru.

Kalaya Tjukurrpa Kalaya Tjukurrpa (Emu Dreaming) near M’Bunghara Outstation on Glen Helen Station. The emu is travelling from the waterhole to his eggs while the Malu (kangaroo) is travelling between waterholes looking for water.
