Name: Marlene Taylor
Biography:
Marlene Taylor was born at Aputula, also known as Finke. She grew up and was schooled in Alice Springs, attending Sadadeen High School. She has lived most of her adult life at Titjikala, occasionally returning to Alice Springs. Marlene and Tangentyere Artists' Elizabeth Douglas lived alongside one another in Titjikala. She began painting at Tangentyere Artists in 2014. In 2023, she has returned to paint, stopping at Abbott's Camp with her niece, Christine Wirri, also paints at Tangentyere Artists.
