Kyah is the granddaughter of renowned Tangentyere Artists painter Betty Conway. She began painting with Tangentyere Artists in 2015 while still at school. In 2023, Kyah returned to the Art Centre to continue developing her practice, now as a mother and an active member of the Mparntwe community.

Alongside her studio practice, Kyah works at the Pertame Language School and at Tangentyere Artists, reflecting her strong commitment to art, language, and culture. Pertame is an endangered language, and Kyah’s work supports its continuation and transmission through community-led practice. She works across multiple mediums, including painting, ceramics, photography, and jewellery.

In 2023, Kyah collaborated with selected Tangentyere and Yarrenyty Arltere Artists to produce an installation for Tarnanthi at the Art Gallery of South Australia.
