These are the lovely wildflowers that grow around the creek in my country. They are such lovely colours. There are Mulla Mulla, Acacia and Bluebells everywhere in spring.

Biography:
Danii-Rae has only been painting for a short while. She joined the Yinjaa-Barni Art centre to do work experience from her education support class in 2015.
Danii-Rae likes painting flowers, sea-life, such as fish and turtles, and has recently added parrots to her paintings.
She chooses bright colours and has developed a unique contemporary style of her own.
Midnight sky This painting reminds me of when we go camping out bush we always camp out in the flat where we can see the stars shining.
Honey Ants Honey ants are shown here collecting food before winter. Bunjima people call the food ‘mulma nujnu’. This name comes from the leaves, and another name is ‘ngardanu’, which comes from the branches.
