In our country we have snakes that live in the trees and they wait for flying foxes and birds to eat.
In Yindjibarndi country there are many different shaped rock formations. It looks like a truck has tipped a huge pile of rocks. At different times of the day, especially in the evening sunset, you will see the beautiful colours changing across the face of the rocks which compliments the soft spinifex growing through the country.
The Barramundi is fished for at the mouth of the Harding River. We go out as a family to fish and enjoy the day by the water.
These are the Pilbara wildflowers that grow on my country. They cover the ground in lovely colours in season.
This is part of Millstream River. It’s so deep you can’t touch the bottom. It’s a permanent pool. We would swim in it as kids but never as an adult man. Men who have been through the lore can not swim there.
This is the Fortescue River. During cyclone season it gets filled up and full of good fish.
