Biography:
My name is Violet Samson. My mother and father were Ngarluma. I was born in Cheeritha Station in 1949.
I am a Ngarluma Elder, one of the remaining two traditional owners of the Ngarluma lands, the land of the Saltwater People.
I started painting in 2007. I like painting about mining companies and wildflowers and seeds and waterholes. I am also using glass to tell my stories.
