Biography:
Leeanne is eldest daughter of Lulu Teece, one of the senior artists at Ampilatwatja. Leeanne is a grandmother with one grandchild. Leeanne, like many of the ladies at Ampiltwatja loves to go out into country, hunting and being ‘in’ country. She has started her own style of painting using strong and bright colours. This style has come from her own ideas. Her first paintings are a modern representation of altwerr (wild orange).
