My Great Grandmothers Country is where we go hunting. We hunt arlewatyerr (goanna) and arwengerrp(bush turkey). After the big rains we swim in the river. We look for sweet alkwarrer (bush banana), anaty (bush potato) and akarley (wild oranges).
I am inspired by the beautiful wild flowers that grow there. Being on my great grandmothers country makes me happy and content.

Biography:
Sevania was born in Soapy Bore, Utopia and started to paint when she was a teenager. She learnt the way to paint landscape and bush medicine from her mother Elizabeth Ngwarraye Bonney and her grandmother Eileen Kemarre Bonney, a former health worker and artist. Sevania enjoys painting she says it soothing and makes her feel calm. Sevania now paints and shares her knowledge with her twin daughters so they can learn as she did with her grandmother.
