Lulu Pitjara Teece – After the Kwaty (Rain)

After the kwaty (rain) we go hunting and we cut bush medicines. The beautiful flowers are all clean and fresh, washed by the rain. More rain coming means the trees will fruit, and we can collect seed to grind up to eat, we make medicines from the seeds which we brew up and make teas and ointments to make our children well and strong
