Biography:
Roxanne is a young emerging artist who comes from a strong creative family. She is the granddaughter of senior artists Pepai Jangala Carroll (dec) and Alison Milyika Carroll who have both also had significant leadership roles in the art centre.
Since starting her art career, Roxanne has worked across both paintings and ceramics, finding a particular interest in vibrant, decorative ceramics. She has also participated in a jewellery making workshop in Adelaide and has more recently developed a keen eye for photography.
Roxanne is also an Arts Worker at Ernabella Arts. In this role she’s had the opportunity to travel widely, often with her grandmother, to events and workshops. In 2021 she assisted with the installation of her grandfather’s final exhibition – ICON at the Jam Factory.
