Biography:
Hazel was born in Alice Springs and grew up in Pukatja community. She has four children and 2024 marks the first free time she’s had to come to the art centre. Hazel’s grandmother was the renown Ernabella artist Nura Rupert. Hazel’s mother, Malpiya Davey, and her sister, Nicole Rupert, are also both artists at Ernabella Arts. Hazel is just beginning to develop her own individual style and technique.
