Beswick Classic by James Malibirr

Senior artists at Djilpin Arts have been sharing culture for decades, ensuring knowledge is being passed on for future generations. Story:
Long Neck Turtle

This piece depicts a long neck turtle hiding between two lily roots. This has been painted using a handmade Jarlk brush, harvested from local billabongs and wet areas. Raark (fine line work) is in Yirritja style and consists of three or four lines before alternating colours.
