Biography:
I am an Aboriginal artist of Yorta Yorta descent from Echuca. I began painting as a teenager, although over the past few years I have participated in formal art training to gain an understanding of various mediums. I am qualified to train students at Bendigo Regional Institute of TAFE (Echuca Campus) in the arts.
I have always loved to express myself through art and have used a variety of different media including: paintings on canvas, ceramics, relief printing, jewelry and sculpture. My artwork has meanings on different levels and tells stories of my family. Some of these stories have been passed down to me or have been shared with me by elders within the community. “Art is my Passion”.
