Spring Ceremony

The artwork depicts the ceremony of welcoming the spring season. The patterning throughout the artwork are of the movement of people gathering the ochre that buried throughout parts of country. The colours indicative of country and where the ochre can be found. The designs within the circular icons represent the body markings of the people and their movement within the ceremony or dance. The white fine lines depict movement of the people, in symmetry with the movement of seasonality and country.
