Holding On To What You Love

When the weather is rough the seafloor gets thrashed about by the waves and the seaweed beds, where the seahorses like to make their homes, get ripped out by the roots and float to the surface.

If I’m diving in the weather I see the seahorses wrapped around each other and the seaweed fronds as they are tossed back and forth by the waves. The seahorses keep holding on to each other and their seaweed home until the weather is calmer. Then they let go, floating back down to the seafloor ready to make a new home.
