Honey Ant Dreaming Story

After a long rain, the Ellery Creek filled with water. With the heavy flow of water came many fish from the north. As the creek dried out a fish was jumping about in the ever decreasing water, then a yabbie came along and ate the fish. It then dug itself underground where it transformed in to a honey ant. The honey ant then travelled through the gorge, through the Ellery Creek big-hole and south to a place named Yirampa which is the Arrente word for honey ant.
