The wandjina, dumbi and ungud are all from the dreaming.
If anything happens to the owls, the wandjina sends out the snakes to bring the rains.
Dumbi are very precious to the wandjina.

Biography:
Born in Derby 1972, Kelvin Kelly grew up in Mowanjum Community with his family. Kelvin has 5 sisters, his father is a Ngarinyin man, whilst his mother is a Yawuru woman from Broome.
He started painting at school, his teacher being Mark Norval; the now reputable contemporary Derby artist.
As well as painting, Kelvin also carves boab nuts.
He says- "Painting makes me feel good. It clears my mind, keeps me focused and helps me concentrate."
