Wandi Ngalku Bijarr - Eagle fire dreaming, Gregory dick.

Language name: Pheasant, Jurrma/Bulbul.

I grew up in Wujal Wujal which is my grandmothers country. I travel around a lot to visit family in Cairns and Hopevale.

My totem is the white cockatoo and black snake. Growing on country, I have learned our traditional lore from my elders, from my childhood upbringing.

I have observed our customs, ceremonies, dance and song cycle. My belief is to understand and learn my culture. My artworks reflect my culture and the country I am.
