Dhamu 2 OF 5

Dhamu means seaweed in my language. There are all kinds of sizes, little dhamu beds usually have lots of small fishes. The bigger dhamu beds has big fishes and sharks.

Biography:

my name is Tahmana Misick, I'm 19 years old and I reside here at Kubin Village on Moa Island. I'm employed here at Ngalmun Lagau Minaral Arts (Moa Arts) holding a gallery assistant position as well as practising and doing artworks as an emerging artist. My hobbies include going out fishing, spending time with my family, cooking and doing art. The influence on my artworks are based on my childhood from different island foods, plants and traditions, One of my other interests is photography i really like doing camera work and exploring different sceneries through different lenses which i enjoy very much
