Migi abau this print titled “mini abau” is about the fruit of the noni fruit tree and its fruits is used for. The noni fruit can be used to make hot to cold drinks and act as a remedy if you have a sore throat. You can boil the non fruit tree until it turns into a thick like consistency which you can serve hot or leave it in the fridge to cool and serve as a cool drink.

Biography:

my name is Tahmana Misick, I'm 19 years old and I reside here at Kubin Village on Moa Island. I'm employed here at Ngalmun Lagau Minaral Arts (Moa Arts) holding a gallery assistant position as well as practising and doing artworks as an emerging artist. My hobbies include going out fishing, spending time with my family, cooking and doing art. The influence on my artworks are based on my childhood from different island foods, plants and traditions, One of my other interests is photography i really like doing camera work and exploring different sceneries through different lenses which i enjoy very much
