These cushion covers are printed in Maningrida as a way for women to generate income whilst sharing their ancestral stories. The sale of this item helps to support the operational of Babbarra Women’s Centre as well as providing income to local employees and income to the designer’s family.

Biography:
Dora Diaguma started working with Bábbarra Designs in 2007, however, due to ill health she is now based at home.
Dora’s designs often depict her djang (ancestral creation stories) and native flora and fauna, such as her popular fabric design Murnubbarr (Magpie Goose).
