Mala (Trumpet Shell) on charcoal coloured cotton drill by Lorraine Hunter 

Lengths of handprinted screen printed fabric on 100% cotton drill 150cm wide

The weight of the fabric is 210gsm

The base fabric is silver grey and is a three-colour print with dark grey, light grey and white coloured details.

Lorraine is a Yawuru woman and spent her childhood travelling between Derby and Broome. She now lives permanently in Broome.

She has practised with Nagula Jarndu for several years, and has studied visual arts and worked in archives at the Berndt Museum, University of Western Australia.

Lorraine enjoys fishing, family time and being productive in her local community. Her influences are native and other Broome plants as well the abundant coastal life on offer in Yawuru saltwater county.
