Biography:
Connie is a Yamatji-Noongar artist who grew up in Perth, Noongar Wadjuk where she loved the river life and Noongar Country. She moved to Rubibi, Broome with her family in 2023.
Connie has been creating art for many years, mainly working in the graphic design space, creating logos and designs for various businesses. When she moved to Broome in 2022, she came to Nagula Jarndu and quickly picked up the process of block printing, creating a large portfolio of popular designs. Connie is inspired by her ancestors and the learnings she has gathered from the women in her life.
