Biography:
Maureen was born in Broome then family moved to Derby then to Ardyaloon. She has fond memories of times at Bulgin albay tree, Cygnet Bay and Iwany (Sunday Island) with the old people. Maureen married a Davey and lived out at Gambarnun where she did tours with tourist sharing stories and culture. She's interested in bush foods, medicines and things from the salt water. Her medium is jewelry, textiles, bush medicines and photography.
