This is a painting about a yinta (permeant water source). We are talking to the country when we visit. We go to the water, put it in our mouth and spray it out to let it know you’re are there and you are looking after the country.

My grandmothers country is near Carnarvon. my grandfathers country is near Wagyl Cape, near Albany. i have been in the Pilbara since I was a young fella. i am connected through Nyabalee people, through law. in Yungalina I finished my law, I've put to sons through law, one to go.
