Biography:
I was born in Derby and grew up in Kalumburu and went to school there. I learnt to paint in school. I decided I wanted to paint and I like to paint with ochres. I like to paint the Wandjina and the animal stories. I have got six kids. All my kids are big now so I like to paint and go fishing. Mary Lou paints at the Kira Kiro Art Centre at Kalumburu and was involved on the public art project for the "Maba Guda Nyambila Gra" (Old Men and Old Women's Place), the new HACC centre at Kalumburu.
