Biography:

Gwen was born in the mission at Oombulgurri (Forrest River) in a stone house that her father made. She married a man from Kalumburu and had five children. Gwen worked at the Oombulgurri school and Theda station. She now lives in Kalumburu with her daughter Pat. Gwen likes to base her paintings on the country known as Woomarri (around the King George River).
