Painted Driftwood

These pieces of driftwood were collected  by the artist, on country,  at the local beach, Weary Bay. 

Each one is hand painted and reflects the artists culture and stories, which makes each one unique and individual.

Biography:

I am from two clan groups, Kuku Yalanji on my fathers side and my mothers side is from Kuku Nyungkul - Shiptons Flat.

My mother used to tell us all about her stories from her country, my father still tells stories about his country around the Buru area. 

I am from the Wujal Wujal area.

My paintings represent the stories told to me by my mother and father.
