Freshwater-Saltwater

Freshwater-saltwater story.

Bradley has painted his country at sunset. The sun is depicted at the top centre of the painting separating the saltwater side at the left, and the freshwater side on the right. A track runs from the sun to the centre of the painting to meet big water flowing from left to right, changing from salt water to fresh water. On both sides small streams run down the side. The marks on the side of the streams are trees on the banks of these streams. On the top half there are clouds and birds settling for the night. There are birds like sea eagles on the left and freshwater birds on the right The white bands at the top running diagonally are places where white ochre is found. Across the big water on the bottom half are really important stones, 5 to the left and 5 to the right, together with a pandanus tree on either side. The pandanus trees have fruit This is the freshwater salt water story.
