Biography:
Renee is an Yindjibarndi woman who started painting in the year 2021. She was hesitant to begin with often asking for guidance with colours and ways to interpret the country onto the canvas. After doing a couple of paintings she realised she had a natural flair when painting and using colours. Although she has just begun painting her works have become popular.
Pilbara country The colours in the background represent the pilbara landscape with a hint of colour piercing through representing the scattered wildflowers found all across the countryside in the evening light.
Creek Bed This artwork is the riverbank of Millstream. It’s a tropical oasis where we like to go swimming there, fishing and spending time with family.
