This painting represents many Pilbara hills we have in our country and the dry spinifex everywhere with the green trees. This is my grandmothers hill at three different times of the day.

Biography:
Renee is an Yindjibarndi woman who started painting in the year 2021. She was hesitant to begin with often asking for guidance with colours and ways to interpret the country onto the canvas. After doing a couple of paintings she realised she had a natural flair when painting and using colours. Although she has just begun painting her works have become popular.
Rock Art This place is where the poeple went hunting for food. They knew that there they could find Stingray, Dugong and Turtle. This place is Murujuga on the Burrup Peninsula in the Pilbara.
Heritage Icon This old house in Roebourne used to be known as Dalgety House. Now days it’s our famous Yinjaa-Barni Art Centre where everybody is welcome, we all come together here.
