Bayaderra swimming towards the river bank’s sand ridge to lay eggs after a cultural burn off on country. The burn-off creates a clear path for the Broad shell or Long Neck turtle to lay eggs The wattle blooms it’s flowers then the grubs come up out of the ground. The rain comes after that and the ironbark blooms and its the start of a new season. The turtle is carrying a Nulla Nulla to represent being ready for hunting.
