Biography:

I live with my mum and two brothers, but altogether I have four brothers and two sisters of which I am the youngest. My brothers and I play football and all of the family enjoys fishing.

I have been working at the Art Shed at Mossman Gorge for three years and in that time I have taken part in many workshops to learn about different media and art techniques.

My work was exhibited for the first time at the Cairns Indigenous Art Art Fair in 2012 and the IACA ‘Kinship’ exhibition at TANKS and at James Cook University in 2013. In the past year, I have worked with four other young men in wood carving and furniture construction, using recycled rainforest timber found at Mossman Gorge. We are hoping to develop our own business in wood products over the coming years.
