The Nitmiluk Range is a collaboration between the Banatjarl Strongbala Wimun Grup and Djilpin Arts. The range features scarves and sarongs in designs by Djilpin’s artists at Beswick, offered exclusively through the Nitmiluk Gift Shop. This collaboration promotes local Aboriginal enterprises on Jawoyn Country, supporting training, development and strengthens the connections between our communities in the Katherine Region. A percentage of your purchase is paid direct to the Artist.

The Nitmiluk Range scarf features digitally printed designs by Djilpin artists from Beswick Community. Fabric has the luxury of silk but blended with viscose for breathable comfort – perfect for everyday use. A wearable artwork investment suitable for summer or winter.

Biography:

Evangeline is from Ramingining and has lived in Beswick since she was four years old. She learned painting from her grandfather and bush medicine from her grandmother. Evangeline is an Artsworker and Cultural Host for Djilpin, she is a Graduate of the ANKA Artsworker Extension Program and has produced designs for print, jewellery and textiles.
