Biography:

Emily Kaybbrimm has been working with Bábbarra Designs since 2012. She has a talent for fine linocut design and an eye for layering colours on fabric.  Emily comes from a strong line of accomplished female artists who work with traditional bark painting, weaving and wood carving. She was mentored by her sisters Jennifer Wurrkidj, Deborah Wurrkidj and her mother Helen Lanyinwanga whom have all exhibited internationally.

Emily grey up on her homeland, Mumeka outstation and was schooled by a visiting teacher. During the wet season her family would stay in Maningrida for work, school and services.
