Biography:
I am a proud Yorta Yorta and Warlpiri woman originally from Mooroopna Victoria. I have been living in Ballarat for the last 18 years. My Art celebrates forms of the female body within a First Nations and Gen Y context, referencing natural objects I have found in Country, particularly bark. My art challenges perceptions and notions of the female, including the element of the ‘hidden.’ I draw my inspiration from the land and my culture and my personal journey through connecting with my culture and heritage as well as life experiences and a love for creating. My work is Aboriginal art with a contemporary twist
