Biography:
Lydia Ningamarra was born 12 February 2013 and is an emerging artist who lives in Mowanjum Community 10 kms outside Derby in the West Kimberley of Western Australia. She is of the Wanambal tribe from the North West Kimberley.
Lydia enjoys reading, playing and painting. She likes to hear stories of her tribe and learn the importance of Country. She longs to meet her father's family and learn about his culture.
Lydia is a very good learner and puts an effort into everything she does especially her artwork. She believes one day she will teach others and educate them about her culture through her art.
