Barramundi by Peter Lindsay

Sourced from archived prints in Djilpin’s Gapu Series, outstanding works have been printed on to a high quality, cotton-linen blend tea towel. This is senior artist Peter Lindsay’s 2016 Barramundi etching, originally hand printed on paper by Basil Hall Editions.

Biography:

Peter is a Traditional Owner for Bulman in Central Arnhem Land. He currently lives in Beswick with his wife and family. Peter works in portraits and contemporary images as well as traditional designs.

Peter draws inspiration from his mothers country - Daly River & Port Keats. He has created works in pencil and pen for local health promotions and has made a range of limited edition prints with Djilpin Arts and long-time print collaborator Basil Hall. 

Peter's latest hand-drawn design for Djipin features fish and marine life in the local waterways and features on our accessories range of scarves, sarongs and picnic rugs.
