The Original Artwork: Conkerberry (Boonjadul)

“Conkerberry is a bushfruit in my language. We call it ‘Boonjadul’.

It grows wild in Australia. Us Aboriginal People, and my ancestors around the Kimberleys and the Rangers Country, lived off this bush fruit.

We also use Conkerberry to chase away mosquitos and bad spirits.

We also used it for healing in our traditional way for many many years, till today” – Philinka
