Biography:
I was born in Ballarat and have lived here all my life. My mother taught me a lot about my culture when I was growing up, and so did the local Aboriginal community who always showed and shared their knowledge.
While working with Aboriginal youth, teaching them about culture, and supporting them to discover more of their heritage, I realised I had some talent for art.
I started painting, carving, wood burning and much more, and now have become confident with my abilities.
When I do my artwork, I use my emotions, and this is what guides me. My art is healing and about my life.
