Namorrorddo (Shooting star Spirit)

Mythical creatures of a malevolent nature, namorrorddo are shooting star spirits. They have long claws and trails of white light coming from their heads. They also carry a long club called miyarrurl which they use to beat victims.Yiman kabenerohrok nakidjkidj ya nakka wanjh kabenerohrok namorrorddo. Namorrorddo kabirlikan, bidngalnjkuyeng yoh.

Namorrorddo is similar to the spirit called ‘Nakidjkidj’, the same as Nakidjkidj. Namorrorddo however carries light (ie. the shooting star) and has really long claws, yes.

Biography:

Haggie is the granddaughter of renowned Kunibidji artist Joy Garlbin. Her mother is Joy's eldest daughter, Athena. 

Haggie's grandmothers country on her fathers side is Manmoyi.

As a child, she spent time fishing in the freshwater rivers around Manmoyi Outstation. 

Haggie is an aspiring artist who has started printing lino as well as screen printing at Babbarra Designs. She often depicts the Kuninjku mythological creature, Namorrorddo (Shooting star Spirit) in her designs.
