These are the rockholes round about Blackstone. Nyuku Ngurra (my home).
This is a well, we used to pump the water from the hill but it broke, long time ago. On the other side of the hill is the water tank. This (painting) is before that pump broke. Kapi Pulkana. We travelled from rockhole to rockhole.

Biography:

Wendy grew up in Jameson where she went to Primary School. She travelled to Coolgardie and then Esperance for high school education where she boarded at a girls school. After completing Year 4 she left and moved back to the NG Lands at Blackstone. Wendy has worked at the school as Teacher's Aid, as well as teaching the toddlers in playgroup. 

Wendy started painting around 2005 when her daughter started at school. She taught herself to paint. JImmy Donegan is her uncle.
