Biography:
BADAC Youth Group commenced in 1979 when Ballarat & District Aboriginal Cooperative was formed.
This group has been the meeting place for hundreds of young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth from 4 to 21 who live in and around Ballarat.
Youth Group is a safe cultural space for young First Nations kids, and focuses on culture knowledge, self empowerment and fun.
Many kids who went to Youth Group have now seen their children and even grandchildren enjoy this group.
