Juluwarru is the most common saltwater turtle and is very good for food, it is the main species the people still eat.The large adults contain a lot of meat, and everything is eaten including the, the flippers, the intestines and the tasty fat.

Biography:
Matilda was found in Dreaming by her first Mum, who fished for her, ate her and said, 'It tastes funny, this is a baby, but I am too old'. Matilda says, "She gave me to my Mum who became pregnant with me."
Matilda is an established artist, who has recently started painting at Kira Kiro Artists. Inspired by her sister Sylvia Djanghara, and well known artist and uncle Waigan Djanghara, Matilda considers local rock art themes and those of local flora and fauna that inhabit the river and pristine coastline of the Kalumburu surrounds.
